Jim Buss is the Principal Broker and one of the owners of Big Red Realty. Being born in Nebraska and a fan of the Razorbacks it was only natural that he and his family chose to purchase Big Red in 2006. Jim is also CEO of Buss Construction, Inc. Buss Construction, Inc. has contracted with over 300 Firestone Tire stores a year nationwide for the past 15 years. He has been in construction for over 40 years and is licensed as a Master Plumber, Master Electrician, HVAC Contractor and General Contractor in many states. Jim was elected to the Hot Springs Village Board of Realtors in 2015 and is served as President of the Hot Springs Board of Realtors for 2016 and 2023. Big Red Realty has been nominated for Business of the Year and Customer Service of the Year for two years in a row. Big Red Realty is the only certified Alzheimer’s Friendly Real Estate Business in Hot Springs Village, and the only company in HSV registered as a Safe Haven for our Professionals. Shawn Futch is a part owner of Big Red Realty and Office Manager. Shawn also formed and serves on the board for Home Source, a non-profit organization, working with state and federal officials and banks, teaching First Time Home Buyers about the benefits and responsibilities of owning a home. Shawn made her Real Estate License inactive so she could devote her time to operating Big Red Realty and teaching First Time Home Buyers.  She is also a founding member of Small Biz Divas, a women’s networking group In Hot Springs Village that meets monthly to support, encourage and empower other women business owners and professionals.

DuWayne Futch is a Realtor and part owner of Big Red Realty. DuWayne sells homes statewide and devotes a lot of time to First Time Home Buyers. Lydia and her family moved to Hot Springs Village in October 2010.  They immediately fell in love with the Village and the people.  The McCarthy’s are originally from the Midland Michigan area and have lived in Kansas City, Louisville, Boston, and the last 26 years in Huntington Beach, CA.   Lydia's diverse experience lies in technology consulting and staffing. Born and raised in East Texas, I moved to Arkansas at the age of 14, where I attended Jessieville High School and later graduated from Calvary Christian Academy. I’ve always had a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset, which led me to start Triple B Lawns, a lawn care company I’ve successfully owned and operated for the past five years.
About four years ago, I began working in the construction industry. That hands-on experience gave me valuable knowledge about building homes and sparked the idea to go into business with my dad. Together, we launched Triple B Construction, where we specialize in building and selling spec homes. That venture not only strengthened my skills in home construction but also opened my eyes to the broader world of real estate.
It was through this journey that I decided to earn my real estate license and begin a career as a Realtor.
